Originally from Chicago, John attended the Berklee School of Music in Boston before coming to Los Angeles. John studied under the late Bruce Swedien, history's greatest Master of audio engineering. John opened his first studio, Image Recording, in Hollywood in 1983, which he owned until reimagining the modern day studio as Resonate, which opened in January, 2005. John continues to involve himself in studio projects of all types.
Terri Wong-Swanson
Studio Manager
A native of Burbank, Terri originally joined us as an Engineer nearly thirty years ago, assuming her position as Studio Manager several years later. Terri’s enthusiasm, her knowledge, her warmth and her tremendous ability to make each client feel right at home with us make Terri a most valuable member of our team. And she loves to ski!
